As put by both of my Little Valentines"We had a sweet time!!!!!" and We sure did. Just as I put on Sunny 95, the soothing, sexy voice of Delila came on to host her love song program! How lucky that we got Delila! Anna and Josie both thought the music was funny to listen to and even funnier that I new the words to most of them! Muskrat Suzie and Muskrat Sam even played! Summer Breeze and of course The Pina Colada song...so many Jr. high dance memories.... Anyway we defiantly had a romantic, sweet filled, crazy sugar high evening!
I love how my creative two went outside the sugar cubed box (I mean house) and made lollipop trees, grass with green sprinkles,lemon drop trees and even pools for the landscape!! They loved decorating the houses, but being the creative little souls that they are, started talking about how their hoses needed gardens and then their imaginations soared! Who thought that a Reese Cup could be a planter for a lollipop, or that gummy hearts could be stacked on a stick to look like topiaries?? Way cool. So as Phi Collins finished singing Against all Odds and we began cleaning up,
I thought that I am going to have a lot of odds against me getting my two sugar princess down to bed on time. But, the time spent with them is worth going up against nerds, Hershey kisses, licorice, candy hearts, lollipops,m&ms..................OH MY!
