I am finding so many wonderful pictures that I have not seen in years!!! Since I have never made time to put them in photo albums, most of these pictures I have not seen since they were taken. I know my blog is very random with all these different pictures, but I did name my bog A Happy Moment Captured and boy am I glad I captured so many of these memories- they do make me very, very happy! Thanks Joe for putting all these on my very own laptop and making it so easy for me to get instant gratification from my photos love YOU!

As I am going through all of these older photos that were not taken with a digital camera, I am running across so many that bring back a rush of wonderful memories. My beautiful Aunt Nancy and my sweet cousin Roda came for a visit when we lived in German Village. Roda just had Emma and I Anna. Look how tiny you are Emma!!! I need to get many more pictures of the Motta and Brown clan-they are so cute!!!
Love you All!

This was our very first family portrait!!! There are not too many of these family photos from that year, actually this is the only one I have found so far so I'm really excited to have found this.!! This was taken the day Josie and I came home from the hospital!!! Everyone one looks so young, more fit, more hair..... but now we are smiling more, and we love each other so much- which means so much more than being younger or having more hair!!!

Hand off Girls! This is OUR Uncle Chris!!!

This photo is a great one!! It really captures how the girls feel about their Uncle Chris. The girls love when Uncle Chris comes into town, they think he is sooooo cool. Anna and Josie love acting silly with him and Josie hangs onto his every word. And I have to agree, my little brother has grown into one cool dude!

The Programs at the Columbus Art Museum are wonderful! Our family especially likes going once a month to the Doodles program. This month we went with our great friends The Owens, Lisa,Sydney, and Mary. We studied the stone carvings of Tim Lewis. He is known for making folk art carvings that represent a story or a fable. The kids then were given a piece of wood to paint, collage, and draw on to make their own piece of art that represented a story that they enjoy. All four of them opted to paint there depiction.
My dear friend Lisa loves the art by Georgia O'Keeffe so we went to visit one of Lisa's favorite paintings by her. I don't think we were allowed to take this picture, but I am glad I snapped it so Lisa could have an actual painting of her standing by a piece of art of an artist that she truly admires!! Lisa taught me many cool facts about her that I never knew, Georgia O' Keefe lived a interesting life and knowing more about her makes me appreciate her work. Thanks Lisa!!
I really enjoy many of the photos taken from our day at the museum, but one of my favorite is the one with the three girls in front of the camel. Look closely however and you may spot another cutie!!!

fast. really cold. scary. Awsome fun... SLEDDING!!!!
Anna and Josie went sledding with their good buddies Lily and Joe on Tuesday night.
A couple of years ago the girls and I were looking for a place that was not too crowded to sled and we stumbled on a wonderful hill tucked away in New Albany. No we did not trespass onto the Wexners place, even though they do have some good hills around their small place. It is a common area that everyone can use, really.... anyway over the last couple of years more people have caught on to this one great sledding hill, but it still never gets crowded.
Anna has been taken Art classes with Lilly for the past year on Tuesdays and really enjoying it. Lately however, Lily and her have been craving time to just play and act crazy. They don't get to just hang out together and just play that often so they are currently on a hiatus from art and enjoying the hills and snow.
Josie and Joe became quick friends also and they to love to be crazy and let loose together. It was only fit to take these four to our sledding spot!
they were all loving it as you can tell from the photos. Every time I tried to snap a photo they would whiz by on their sled or be running up the hill too fast to slow down for me.
I was loving watching them have so much fun and just cracking up being themselves...KIDS!!!

There is nothing like a good friend, but best friends are sweeter than sweet! Josie and Sydney definitely fit the definition of being a great best friend to each other. They treat each other with such kindness, they have fun even if there is only a stick to play with (and this has really happend!!), they are girls who enjoy life!

See what I mean- this is how they are a lot when they are together just Lovin' life....

and sometimes they just kick back, take it easy and quietly enjoy each others company

Christmas-2008

What a wonderful picture of Joe and his Mom! At Christmastime, Joes Mom makes a big ole'pot of homemade Fettuccine! This is a really big deal - not only is it time consuming to make- you have to constantly stir for about an hour, but this is the only cooking that Mom likes to do, well maybe she doesnt LIKE to make it, but she loves us and knows that we love Her fettuccine! Thank you for all the love that you give to us and the love that goes into that famous dish of yours! We love you!

Mamas Got Tunes!!

MUSIC SWEET MUSIC!!!!!
I'm so proud of my self! I figured out how to download music to my blog- yes this is a HAPPY moment! My house has gone down hill for the last couple of days, but who cares- Mamas got some sweet tunes. I have always loved music.I remember spending my allowance or any money I could get my hands on .75 cent 45 LPNs!!! Remember those??? If not you missed out on the treat of vinyl. On my pink shag carpet I would sit and listen to my Bay City Rollers and try to put the needle on the exact part of S-A-T-u-R-D-A-Y NIGHT!!! over and over -you had to be careful not to scratch your 45, so it was pretty much a science to get it in the exact part that you wanted and I was good! So- I've ventured along way since my 45's, but sometimes I still break them out and sing Muskrat Suzie...Muskrat Sam.......

August-2008
My technical gifted husband is helping his 8(!) year old nephew Luke help work his mp3 player. I love this picture of the two of them together! they are in such deep thought with each other, and its rare to get a shot of these two together that is just in the moment!
Usually the 2 Tiberi boys and the 2 Tiberi girls are off and having some crazy fun together and now that they are all older we don't see much of them when their altogether! So, it is very rare to capture these sweet moments with the Uncles and Aunts. When I came across this photo, I fell in love with it. I remember Julie and I taking newborn pictures of Josie and Luke side by side- it does not seem
long ago. As the cousins grow older and even more independent and spending all their time with each other, I hope to capture a few more of these moments of slowing down to take some time out for their wise but not too old elders!!

11!?!

As I looked through my photos, I came across this picture of Anna taken last summer. It is evident to me everyday that Anna is growing up by her actions and her changing interests, and I am so proud of the young lady that she is becoming , but I would still love to slow down time a bit. When I came across this photo of her though, I had to catch my breath and blink to make sure what I was looking at was my little Anna. Seeing her look so grown up -so beautiful- I new she was growing into a young lady by the way she talks, her interests and having more responsibility. It's a very different feeling however, 'seeing' her so grown up. This picture makes me want to slow everything down, take a walk with her hand in mine and really look at her. Anna will be 11 on Feb.1, time does go by in an instant and by the looks of this, pictures don't lie. I love you my beautiful young lady!

roll snow roll!

Anna and Josie were literally having a ball in the snow! I love spying on the girls to watch what amazing things they will do next-this was one of those Nancy Drew moments! They could not pick up the snow ball because it would crush into pieces, so they made a ramp out of a log they found!! Pretty smart. Slowly and patiently they rolled and rolled. Right when the snow ball was about to be placed on the other, BAM- the log fell on Josies foot. Man that had to hurt, but she whimpered and said "lets try it again Anna"
I was able to witness the entire process Nancy Drew style from a crack in my door and my new Cannon Camera with its zoom lens-so cool! They would have never known I was snapping pictures if that darn log would not have rolled off and hurt Josie foot-but at least I got a close up view of what happened!
