Because I want to Remember

I have been wanting to scrapbook my pictures for years now. Like my blog title, my real life and our creative choas has played a part in not getting to do the scrapbooking that I would like to do. I planned to scrapbook in my albums. To be creative, to use the the pretty paper, ribbon and buttons and have them come together to tell our stories... I was forgetting the real reason though, to just get the moments down, I don't need pretty paper for that.
Then I discovered Digital Scrapbooks! It is a wonderful way for me to easily tell my family story. Even though I love the papers and the cute "things" of album scrap booking, the main reason for me to scrapbook, is because of THEM. My two beautiful girls. I want to them to know there stories the good ones,the sad ones, and the funny ones. Sometimes it is hard for me to remember my own stories. And I wish I did. I want them to know how much i love them. And how much they love each other. Because sometimes I don't have the patience, or the energy, to stop whatever it is were doing , to tell them then and there how much they mean to me. Because I don't want to forget the smallest detail about these two. Because one day when we're all a little older, a lot busier, I know that I will. But, now that I digital scrapook, I'll have these pages to remind me. They may not have all the pretty papers and the 'cute things', but in these pages I can quickly capture whatever it is that I want to hold onto. I love these two. Every tiny bit of them. And this is one of my ways to let them know their stories.
