Another Birthday at the Hartford Fair (and another year older)

We have had such mild weather for Ohio this summer....then the dog days hit just in time for the fair!!Even though it was sweltering out, we made our annual family trip to the Hartford fair!! This fair is as close as you can come to the county fair in Charlottes Web. This year we watched the 4-H group show their Rabbitts. It brought back memories of my 4-H
Days!! We also witnessed a turkey being washed before the young man showed him. Two families that we are friends with went to the Harford Fair this year, and they reported back to me that it is such a wonderful,clean, and full of hometown fun,if you have not been you need to go next year! I actually look forward to my birthday because I know that the Fair is waiting for us to have shake-up lemonaid, smell the barn smells, see the 4-h kids showing, get something fried on a stick(we counted 42 different fried on a stick goodies this year!) and enjoy my family as we all are sweating bullets in the horse barn. I love the Fair!!
